The Regulations for the Premio Bonporti 2025 – 11th International Baroque Violin Competition have been published on the website.
The contest will take place in Rovereto (Italy) from 16 to 19 October 2025.
The Jury will be composed of Emilio Moreno (Spain) – President, François Fernandez (France), Odile Edouard (France), Romano Vettori (Italy).
The deadline for applications (including sending audiovideo material) is 15 July.
The names of the four violinists admitted to the live performances in Rovereto will be published on the Premio Bonporti website by 30 July.
There will be two live performances:
Da Camera – Violin and basso continuo (harpsichord, OR theorbo, OR harp OR cello)
In Concerto – Violin and Bonporti Baroque Orchestra: F. A. Bonporti – Concerto op. 11 n. 9 in E major ; Antonio Vivaldi – Concerto Per la Solennità della S. Lingua di San Antonio in Padua in D major RV 212.
Scholarships will be available for each of the four accompanists of the admitted violinists .
All admitted participants (violinists and one continuo player) will be accommodated at the organiser’s expense.
