Twenty-one-year-old Armand Thomas (France) has won First Prize at the Premio Bonporti for Baroque Violin 2025. The architect, musicologist and organologist Marco Tiella (Rovereto 1930-2024) founder and President of the Academia di Musica Antica di Rovereto and of the Premio Bonporti, was a multifaceted and highly esteemed personality of international fame, he is cited in the Universal Encyclopedic Dictionary of Music and Musicians of Utet, in the Garzanti Encyclopedia of Music, in the European biographical directory. Two passions-professions in his life: architecture and music, especially “ancient” music.
